In these times of change it is more important than ever that the voice of business be heard. As your advocates and sources of local business information the San Lorenzo Valley Chamber of Commerce has joined with six other business organizations to conduct the Fourth Annual Countywide Survey of Business Conditions. The answers from this survey will direct our advocacy for our shared interests. And, the compiled data from the responses will inform you as you develop plans and strategies for your business and work.
The survey consolidates many of the questions asked in surveys from 2010, 2011, and 2012. It looks at 2012 business performance, expectations for the next 12 months, and the issues that are important to you as a business owner, manager, or principal.
This year’s survey looks at emerging issues in both the private and public sectors; issues we believe are likely to affect your future and the economic environment in which we work. The survey has fewer questions overall this year, and we ask geographic area-specific questions of those indicating a significant business interest in that area.
The survey will require just a few minutes to complete. It does not require any review of records and your response is anonymous. Please take a moment to join in our effort to create a tool for your local business organizations to use in framing the issues and advocating for your interests.
We also encourage you to forward the link (http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/SC2013Biz) to other businesses – especially those in your industry or neighborhood. Increasing sample size reduces the margin of error and permits more focused analysis on segments of particular interest to you.
We invite the business community to share your:
2012 business experiences
Expectations for 2013
Issues that matter to you
